I thought this was awesome.

This shark is seen no less than 2,000 feet under water usually. It's called a frilled shark, sometimes referred to as a "living fossil" because it is a primitive species that has changed little since prehistoric times. It's pretty amazing. They found it in Tokyo when some fisherman called it in. It was actually sick and dying, that's why they believe it surfaced. It died about 3 hours after it's capture.

Can't they keep anything alive they catch? Remeber the Giant Squid they caught? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16322895/
It died too! Maybe they eat them all.
