This movie rocked the house. Go see it. Right now.........I'll be here, when you get back we can discuss. I'm getting this on DVD, director's cut, special edition, even a copy that comes with Frank Miller's autograph! This film lived up to all the hype going on, deserves much praise for not only entertainment, but for technical showmaship, educational purposes, and great acting. Out of all the comic book movies being adapted to the big screen this one has been the most true to the graphic novel. Nearly frame for frame it makes Sin City look like an amature attempt. This one has it, something for everyone, love, battles, violence, charecter development, action, drama, comedy, horror, shock value, realism AND fanatasy. Having the last two in even the same franchise is rare. The stunning visuals aren't the only things you percieve, the original score is amazing, the sound effects accurate enough for an editor's award, and can even drive people to gasping and clapping IN the theatre. I'm sure I sound like a fan boy now, so be it, this one will be a classic for years to come.

This was last week we went just to go look @ Pet shops that afternoon. And NO we didn't get anything. I think it was a NEED TO SEE ANIMALS kind of thing since there isn't a Zoo close at all. Anyway these are Macaws and they are cool, they are nice............EXPENSIVE......and VERY VERY LOUD! |

If you are wondering...Yes.... I have enjoyed my week off from work, and I am ready to go back. Sometimes you need a break from schedules all the time. 5 days off are nice. Well really it was 7. It was nice. Here's an excursion to the duck park. I may go there and draw them, if the wind would ever allow it.

Here's a compound eye (fly's) view of looking down the staircase @ my old job. In case anyone isn't up to speed. My Semperian days are over and I'm starting Monday @ the City of Midland Service Center. But my hours start a little rough. M-F 3 pm to Midnight. It's just until I'm there long enough to move to days. Oh well you gotta start somewhere, and I'm in it. Anyway just found this pic on my phone and thought it looked cool. |

We had fun, we let the dogs check everything out while we were there. Which = No Fishing. Oh well, it was still fun. They got to check out the shoreline nieghborhood, a small park, and the Ft Worth Petsmart. |
