Jeff Gordon adds to the Medley 16th February 2007, 15:21
GREAT NEWS Jeff Gordon, winner of the Second Gatorade Duel, failed the post race inspection. This makes about the 6th team caught breaking some kind of a Nascar rule this week. Lesser violations also by the teams of Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler and Scott Riggs, whose crew chiefs all were fined and suspended. All drivers also lost points. And of course Micheal Waltrip who ruined the debut of the Toyota Camry into the sport by having fuel additives found @ the price of losing his Crew Chief, 2 crew members, a fine, and points lost. The season hasn't even officially started yet. Even though Jeff Gordon's seems unintntional, even the slightest difference in stock cars can be a huge advantage. Especially @ Daytona "The Perfect Track".

Sony Recycling. 13th February 2007, 14:36
Turns out I walked by the PS3 display at Wal-Mart recently and for the first time it wasn't frozen. What waste of space. So since no one was there I decided to check it out. And get this NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS, I've never read it, seen it or heard of it. THE PS3 USES THE EXACT SAME MENU AS A PSP!! HOW CHEAP IS THAT?!?! Jeez at least TRY to do something new when it comes to software Sony. This little fact always gets over looked for some reason.
On a further note, if I have to pick between my Nintendo DS and my Sony PSP.....my DS comes out on top. Just for the fun factor, and way better games. I only keep my PSP because it's flashy, holds pictures, music, and it was free. Ha ha. But after showing it off I would rather play my DS when no one is looking.
Anyway back to the topic, not only is the menu 2 1/2 years old, but the Blu-ray player is freaking slow. You hit the button to skip to the next chapter on a DVD and there is a HUGE delay, almost as bad as the PS1 loading the next level. It feels like one of those $33 cheap HEB DVD players you get free when you try the new Charmin. Okay Rant over.

Silent Hill? 9th February 2007, 14:12
Looks kind of scary out there this morning. Looking out of my window @ work it's the same color everywhere.............fog. HA ha. I guess it makes sense how the roads less traveled have way more fog than the busy intersections. The cars must push the fog around, creating a 2 way wall of air to push the fog up.
Here's a site of the "real silent hill."

Update: Someone has just brought to my attention there is "someone" walking in the picture between the stop sign ahead and bicycle sign, look close.

Beowulf 7th February 2007, 20:37
It was recently announced that Beowulf will be made into a feature film......again. This time it looks like they will try to hit the masses with a cast that anyone would want. Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins and even John Malkovich.
I hope it's at least a decent a movie. Beowulf has been one of my favorite tales for awhile. All three parts are fantastic. The film will most likely cover Part II the most famous. This story hasn't really had much success with the previous attemps, maybe it will finally get the attention/recognition it deserves. I hope so.

Update: Turns out this is going to be a CGI (Computer Generated Image) Movie. Much like "The Polor Express". I think that can have Pros and Cons, being the film will proabaly not be as dark, gothic and gloomy as I would like. But it does mean that anything is possible. In these kinds of movies they can make anything they want. And have any even they can imagine put on screen flawlessly. So we'll just have to see!
