Super Bowl XLI 5th February 2007, 15:12
Super Bowl Sunday concludes the football season for now, it's in the books with the Colts recieving the Lombardi Trophy.
It started off bad with a kickoff return resulting in the first score of the game for the Bears. As the game went on fumble after fumble the Colts regained momentum. Peyton Manning got the MVP Award and new Caddi came with it. Here's a good recap of the game.

Also recently Brett Farve annouced he was going to play another year. The 37-year-old claimed to have got a rush of confidence after ending the season 8-8. (4 wins were the last 4 games) So we'll see if he can break those records he set out against so long ago.

Snow Day! 2nd February 2007, 14:42
Out of nowhere it decides to snow!!! How cool, yeseteday the temp got up to 60 degrees by 3:30, sorry I'm a weather nut. Just proves my point that NO ONE can predict Texas Meteorology. Not even Bill Paxton from Twister. Anyway the dogs got to check it out this morning before I left for work. Shelby didn't want to stay outside for long, and Royce liked it and found a low hanging branch to rub his butt on. (Sorry he told me not to release photos of that)

300 1st February 2007, 17:47
I can't wait to see this movie. It's simply titled, 300. It's a historical fantasy film based on Frank Miller's comic book of the same name. It's basically a complete revision of the Battle of Thermopylae, in which 300 Spartans bravely attempted to fend off over a million Persians. Every last Spartan dies of course, but only after nearly a week of constant battle.

The film 300 will follow the Spartan King Leonidas, who was in fact a decendent of Hercules. It is directed by Zack Snyder, and will be released March 9th. This movie has an awesome look to it well saturated colors, dramatic contrast between light and dark textures, and an almost surreal or dream-like quality. It's a good contrast to Frank Miller's Sin City, which had little color, and used it for key ideas. Commercials just started circulating a few days ago. But the hype is building up quickly.

I can't wait!

Work Cam 31st January 2007, 16:57
Here's a shot from my new desk overlooking the skyline here in town. For it's size it's actually impressive when you think about it. The weather looks very much like Seattle, today anyway. I like these days, you walk outside and can see your breath.
It's funny how they are always right about the weather in California..........Um today: 71 degrees, tomorrow: 71 degrees and guess what, all weekend: 71 degrees. I could tell you that without a barometer. In Texas it's a different story, but everyone knows that.
If you look at the picture, the buildings look cool how the fog tries to hide them from you.

Colton's first B-Day 30th January 2007, 19:12

Roxanne and Tim's little Colton had his first birthday party.
For a good while there were so many photo flahses, you'd think he was on the cover of Star Magazine.
He recieved plenty of gifts, enough for everyone there to play with (adults included). Atop the huge cake was his candle, I don't think he wanted to blow it out because it looked so cool to him. But he did, and ate that cake we did. Family and Friends were there, and I have the feeling there will be enough pictures to fill 3 books.
Looks just like Tim doesn't he?

Here we are! 29th January 2007, 23:20
Well aren't we all decked out despite the rain?

This was fun, we were invited invited by our buddy Robert to attend an awesome function. The event was "The Madrigal Dinner". Hosted by Lee High School here in town. And it was cool! It was held in the Green Tree Country Club and began @ 7 pm. Before we knew it, the time had passed to 10 and the show was over. The musical was cut into movements while food and drinks were distributed. Including Wassail which I thought was pretty good. The play itself was funny, the Jester being the most focus, despite the spotlight switching with each tale.
In short it was fun, it was funny and the food rocked!
